B.C. records 170 deaths from fatal overdoses in a single month

The province said 167 people have died of COVID-19 since B.C.'s first case of the virus was confirmed six months ago. The annual total for overdoses in B.C. was 554 as of May 31.

Provincial Premiers say "Paid sick leave is crucial for the safe restart of our economy"

British Columbia closes provincial campsites to non-residents

Campsites in B.C. provincial parks will be closed to people from outside the province this summer, as officials continue to adjust the rules to the coronavirus pandemic.

British Columbia confirms just 2 new cases of COVID-19 in last 24 Hours

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced Tuesday that there have been 2,446 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus to date, including 146 people who have died. A total of 1,975 have recovered from their illness, which means there are currently 325 active cases of the virus.
